Worship At Maadi Community Church
Worship at Maadi Community Church is so much more than singing in a church service. We see worship as living out Jesus' teachings in every area of our lives. We want to inspire people to make worship an integral part of their daily lives in whatever we do, think or say, wherever we are and with whoever we are with.
The focus of our worshipping week, however, is the celebration services each weekend. We come together as God's family in Maadi and celebrate what He is doing in us and through us. We sing, we pray, we read the Bible and we participate in a sermon, and we give God all the credit for everything He is doing here. Having so many people from so many nations, tribes and tongues worshipping together is like a taste of what heaven might be like.
Our musical style is contemporary and upbeat, with strong references to the history of our faith and the worldwide Christian community through the regular use of traditional hymns, prayers and creeds. We also love to use the latest worship songs, and focus on the fact that God has given us creativity to use for His glory.
Our Friday service is from 5:00 - 6:15 pm. In the fall of 2011, we plan to resume our Saturday service as well from 5:00 - 6:15pm. We look forward to worshipping with you under the tent!
