Dear friends and partners around the world,

Thank you for visiting the Community D&O (Development & Outreach) pages of MCC's website. It is our prayer that through these pages you will be able to catch a glimpse of what God is doing in, with and through MCC 'outside the walls' of the church.

Our vision of being "an oasis of refuge and renewal, equipping people and releasing resources to flood the world with the transforming love of Christ" continues to be the driving force behind the work of the D&O Branch. We sincerely believe that God has called our church to reach out in love to the huge refugee community in Cairo - in particular the Sudanese people - and we are doing this through strengthening their spiritual foundation, raising up and equipping leaders, assisting the poor through vocational training and facilitating employment, caring for the sick and educating the next generation. We also continue to develop strong relationships with other churches and, wherever possible, partner with them to add value to their initiatives and programs.

Please continue to pray for our projects, activities and partners, and for God's continuing faithful provision of resources - of all sorts - that will enable us to partner with God in His plans for the peoples of all nations who live here.
