Leadership Training

Life Group leaders are not born, they are trained!  There is no experience required, only a thirst to live out your relationship with God in a community through leadership.  Every autumn, winter, and spring, we offer a six-week training session to help you become a successful Life Group leader.  You will learn a philosophy of why Life Groups are important; the three prong approach of upward, inward, and outward; and practical “nuts-and-bolt” skills in leading a Life Group.  It is much more than simply receiving and discussing content.  It is also a chance to experience group life dynamics first hand over the course of the six-week training session.  If you attend another church besides MCC, you are invited to receive the training and take it back to your church.
