Vision

Acts 2:46 says, “Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart” (NASB).  At Maadi Community Church, we believe in both of these dimensions—the large group gathering for worship and small groups in homes for growth.

If you already live in Cairo or are moving here soon, Life Groups at Maadi Community Church is a place where you can find family away from home and form supportive friendships.  Group members share their lives together in authentic relationship as each person grows deeper in their relationship with God.  Life Groups provide an environment of loving accountability in which we discover and develop our gifts as we discuss, understand, and apply what God is teaching us.

We also seek to be external as we serve the needy in the area and reach out in everyday natural relationships to family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.  We believe in the priesthood of every believer—ministry is not the sole responsibility of church staff, but is the privilege of every follower of Jesus.  As Life Group members maintain an outward focus they grow closer together and see their own lives transformed in the process.

There are many different types of groups that meet on different days all over the city.  Some groups study the Bible, some discuss a spiritual book, some discuss questions from the message in the weekend worship service, and some meet to encourage each other as they serve.  Some groups are for men, some groups are for women, some groups are for singles, some groups are for married couples.  If you don’t see your particular interest, then form a group around it!

There are 3 ways to get in a Life Group at MCC:

1. Email the Life Group team at mcc.life.groups@gmail.com with your name and cell phone number and tell us what type and/or location of Life Group you would like to join.
2. Call our church office on 2359-2755 between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and leave your contact details.
3. After weekend worship, go to the Connection Point booth and fill out a life group card and hand it in right there at the booth!
