- Bump Up is THIS week. So if you’re in 8th grade, come join us in Collision on Tuesday from 7-9, and if you know any 5th graders, they can bump up to Contact on Wednesday from 6:30-8.
- Service project for high school THIS Friday morning. Leaving from the church gate at 8:45. We’ll be cleaning the center, as well as painting a room or two at a small preschool in Sakanat Maadi. It’s called the ‘Goo Goo Center’ (which is fitting…babies and googoo and all
, but has a special meaning) and is located about a 10 minute walk from the Hadayak Maadi metro station. - What we need…
- volunteers (high school)
- donations for supplies or if you have some spare supplies in good condition that we can donate to them as well (mops, brooms, etc)
- Rags/old shirts for cleaning (and if you want to paint wear/bring paint clothes)
- Paints (preferably acrylic for painting numbers and special designs in one of the rooms).
- There will be a place to change if you need to once we get there so please dress appropriately.
- BASHAPALOOZA is NEXT Tuesday (May 22nd) from 6:30-8pm. This is for the whole family. Snacks will be provided and tickets are available NOW (only 10LE). Come join us for a fun time as we remember the past year!

Hey everyone…the end of the year is coming up quick, so here’s a few things you need to be aware of.
- Yes, we are still meeting this week for Collision and Contact
- Bashapalooza is Tuesday, May 22nd 6:30-8pm. This is our end of the year party for everyone: family, friends and youth. Tickets will be available on Friday for just 10 LE per ticket. This event is also meant to honor our seniors and eighth graders, as well as those students who are leaving after this year… so if you’re a senior or eighth grader can you please let me know if you’re coming ASAP!
- Bump-Up is going to be May 15th and 16th. If you’re an 8th grader you can come on Tuesday night for Bump-Up and come hang with the high schoolers…and if you’re a 5th grader you can come hang with us on Wednesday for Contact.
- Random fact about GJ: my arch nemesis in elementary school (primary) was named CJ…no joke…GJ vs CJ…my life really is a like a cartoon.

New News for you THIS week…
- Collision…7-9p Tuesday. Up in the area formally known as the ‘Widener Wing,’ more recently known as the ‘Tesar Territory,’ and now known as the ‘Family Center’
- Contact…6:30-8p Wednesday…same place.
- SPRING RETREAT!!! High School and Middle School. March 22nd-24th. (which is a different weekend then we were originally looking at) At Queenland (40 minute drive from the church).Only 350LE. Sign up today!!
- MCS students, I know this causes a problem with a field trip you have, please let if you’re still interested and able to come and because of the close proximity we should be able to work something out.
- Collision…we’re looking to start Deep again. Who would be interested? What would you want to do? (book study, book in the bible, etc) And what are some times that work for you?
- Contact students…2 weeks ago, there was a group of you who started asking some really good questions and we had talked about setting up a meeting to get together and study God’s word deeper about some of these questions. Email me back a good time and some questions you’d like to talk about…or go to our facebook page where I’ve just posted this question.

- Contact (middle school) meets Wednesdays 6:30-8p up in the family center.
- Collision (high school) meets Tuesdays 7-9p in the family center.
- Fun Friday is on February 10 for both Contact and Collision. Big Butt Bowling. We will be meeting at Bandar Mall. Check the calendar for more details.
- Random Fact about me…when I was a child I learned that you do not need to pay to use a pay phone when you dial 911 (the police number in the states)…and when you attempt this off of a dare and hang up in shock that somebody actually answered, the police will come and check it out and you will get in trouble.
